Awe, to me, is a feeling of being overwhelmed by something vast, beautiful, or powerful. It’s that sense you get when you’re faced with something bigger than yourself, something that makes you stop and reflect. It could be nature, art, or even a profound idea. Awe kind of shifts your perspective, reminding you that there’s so much more out there than we usually notice.

Can you think of some situations or events that can induce awe?

Some situations that can really induce awe for me are standing at the edge of a mountain, watching a breathtaking sunset, or even witnessing a powerful act of kindness. There’s something about those moments that makes everything else fade away, and you just feel this deep connection to something greater. I think moments of awe can happen in both big, dramatic settings and in small, everyday ones if you’re open to it.

What do you think are the benefits of experiencing awe?

I believe experiencing awe can be really beneficial. It makes you feel more connected to the world and can even reduce stress. Awe has a way of pulling you out of your own thoughts and reminding you of the bigger picture. It also encourages curiosity and can inspire creativity. Plus, I think it makes people more humble and willing to help others, since it puts things in perspective.
