Text 4 — General context

Tom and his sister were planning a weekend trip to the mountains. They arranged early on Saturday morning, but Tom kept putting his bag. He also postponed the train tickets because he hoped prices would fall. His sister couldn’t help when he finally discovered that only expensive seats were left. Tom promised better organized next time. In the end, they still had a great weekend, but he learned a useful lesson about planning.
